Spring Motherhood Portrait Sessions are a seasonal offering on select days this Spring, at the studio on Bainbridge Island.

A light, joyful portrait portrait session celebrating the connection between you and your children — and capturing them just as they are at this particular age.

These sessions are designed to create timeless, artful portraits in a relaxed and welcoming studio setting.

I will share wardrobe guidance with you in advance. Simply arrive with your children and I will guide you through the rest.

Your appointment will last approximately 45 minutes, including time for wardrobe adjustments, quick touch-ups, and your 20-minute portrait session.

I'm not comfortable in front of the camera - Will you guide me?

This is completely normal, and I would never expect you to be an expert at posing. Making you feel natural and at ease in front of the camera is my specialty—and I love nothing more than helping you feel relaxed, connected, and genuinely yourself during your session.

What should I bring, wear, or how should I prepare for my session?

I have beautiful studio dresses in Adult Medium, and girls' dresses in sizes 3T, 5T & 7T. You are welcome to use these for the session if they work well for you and your little ones. Or, I will share with you clothing options that would photograph well. For boys, for instance, linen shirts and pants from Amazon would be great. Solid colors are preferable. I recommend bare feet and minimal jewelry for this session. I also recommend loose curls for Mom and makeup that feels just like a little more than what you usually wear, while still staying authentic to you.
